VC Advocates for Strategic Partnerships and Parental Involvement in Boy Child Education.

November 20, 2024November 21, 2024 Osbert AtwineCommunity

Yesterday, 19th. Nov. 2024, our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Andrew Ainomugisha addressed the staff at Nganwa High School on the topics of targeted, planned, and collaborative marketing. He urged everyone to be intentional and well-informed about the school’s offerings as they promote it this season. He highlighted the importance of forging partnerships with sister schools, higher education institutions, and organizations focused on supporting boy child education. These collaborations are meant to create appealing initiatives that will position Nganwa High School as the top choice for students next year. With the rapid growth of university students at Kabwohe Hill, the VC is committed to enhancing the standards of nearby schools, particularly Nganwa High School and Nganwa Junior School.

Following this, the VC was the guest speaker at a professional fellowship hosted by the Greater Bushenyi Archdeaconry at Premier Hotel in Bushenyi town. The theme of the fellowship was “Restoring the Place of the Boy Child in Society.” In his address, the VC encouraged the professionals to reconsider allowing their boys too much unsupervised freedom and to avoid providing undue advantages as a substitute for their absence in the lives of these children. Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni, while speaking to the attendees, called on them to be role models for their children, emphasizing the importance of instilling a strong work ethic and a love for the church of Christ in their upbringing.
