The Vice-Chancellor is the Chairperson of the academic, financial, administration and an accounting officer of the University appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the University Council for a term of five years and is eligible for re-appointment for another term of office based on performance, on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the University Council.
