The AWU community welcomed Bishop Henry Luke Orombi with grandeur and warmth as he graced the campus today.

Amidst eager faces of the crowd led by the University Council Chairman Dr Nathan Kalema, the Vice Chancellor and Diocesan Secretary welcomed the former Archbishop from Kooga as he entered Sheema District and was by the brass band all the way to Ankole Western University campus.

It was a moment of dancing, happiness, excitement and fluttering university banners at the delegation entered the university gate.
Bishop Henry Luke Orombi will officially address the AWU community tomorrow on the official opening of the mission week.
